Project Manager for the Single Family Shared Loss Compliance Monitoring contract with the FDIC. Developed and implemented an audit and compliance monitoring program around FDIC’s Shared Loss Program. Consulted with the FDIC on key interpretations and implementations of the agreement. Led and trained teams to conduct on-site due diligence reviews of multiple banks throughout the U.S. Evaluated bank policies, risk practices, and operational controls to determine compliance with complex agreements; presented analysis to senior bank management and prepared written reports for the banks and FDIC. Senior Consultant to Freddie Mac
Responsible for the implementation of the Eagle Star & Eagle Pace Investment Accounting Products at the client’s site, solving business and technical issues. Served as a fixed income, securitization and settlement SME for the implementation and testing teams. Reviewed and approved test scenarios for reasonability, accuracy and completeness. Triaged and documented defects reported by the testing teams and interfaced with the Eagle programmers to drive timely resolution. Worked with client to specify and design functionality that improves the efficiency, effectiveness and usability of the Eagle software product.
Senior Project Manager—Securities Trading and Settlement Operations
Concurrently managed multiple IT projects for the processing, settlement and accounting of fixed income (MBS, CMOs and MRBs) products; enhanced the MBS allocation process to retain valuable product for the portfolio. Integrated the processing and accounting of Mortgage Revenue Bonds (MRBs) into the core settlement and accounting systems. Drafted and developed procedures for compliance with various Sarbanes-Oxley and FASB reporting requirements.
