During the Savings and Loan crisis, Watkins worked closely with a government agency in resolving the many issues faced by the Government precipitated by Savings and Loan failures. Watkins provided a solution to these regulatory agencies based upon their geographic needs targeting “crisis hot beds.” Watkins, functioning in the capacity of forensic and financial accountants, banking subject matter experts, and litigation management specialists, provided in excess of 650,000 hours of service to the agencies.
